The Grant Featherston Numero IV series are an iconic piece of Australian mid-century design history, produced by Uniroyal from 1973. With bodies fabricated from a single unit of resilient polyurethane foam and plastic skid, the Numero range represented an exceptional achievement in furniture engineering. It is structured comfort at its finest, or like a beanbag chair in a well tailored suit. These chairs are newly upholstered in textured linen red orange fabric with detachable headrests. Small and large ottomans are available in identical fabric.

Grant Featherston, in collaboration with his wife Mary, is considered one of Australia’s most iconic designers. His distinctive ‘Contour’ range is enjoying a revival as mid-century furniture returns to the spotlight.
