The Grant Featherston Numero VII series are an iconic piece of Australian mid-century design history, produced by Uniroyal from 1974. With bodies fabricated from a single unit of resilient polyurethane foam and plastic skid, the Numero range represented an exceptional achievement in furniture engineering. It is structured comfort at its finest, or like a beanbag chair in a well tailored suit. Newly upholstered in textured mustard fabric the set adds a striking combination of colour and low lines to any space.

Grant Featherston, in collaboration with his wife Mary, is considered one of Australia’s most iconic designers. His distinctive ‘Contour’ range is enjoying a revival as mid-century furniture returns to the spotlight.
