The rarest of the rare 70's chair designed by Grant & Mary Featherston in 1974. Constructed from polyurethane foam over a metal tubular frame with steel webbing, this chair is innovative and unlike anything else designed at the time. It is structured comfort at its finest, or like a beanbag chair in a well tailored suit. The original woollen fabric is still in excellent condition enhancing the uniqueness of this piece.

Grant Featherston, in collaboration with his wife Mary, is considered one of Australia’s most iconic designers. His distinctive ‘Contour’ range is enjoying a revival as mid-century furniture returns to the spotlight.
