Designed by Fred Lowen for Tessa Furniture, The T4 was designed in 1970 featuring a highly sculptural bent ply frame with a hammock style net that supports removable corduroy cushions. It's a brilliant Pan-Pacific interpretation of the laminated ply furniture championed by the Norwegian designers of the 1960s and 1970s. The appealing low profile, spacious seating of the T4 creates a piece to be admired from any angle. As with most Tessa seats, you can expect a very comfortable and supportive seating experience.
Fred Lowen's progressive designs for Tessa defined the contemporary furniture market throughout Australasia in the 1970s. Many of the ranges won Australian design awards and have since become iconic design classics that are highly coveted.
